The organisation is engineering-led, with a strong focus on system integrity, operational reliability, and technical excellence across its deployed equipment fleet.

Role:

The Electrical Engineering Supervisor is a senior technical leadership role responsible for the design, integration, validation, and ongoing support of electrical systems across multiple equipment platforms.

Based in Houston, this role leads the power systems engineering function, oversees testing programmes, and ensures all electrical systems are fully evaluated and verified prior to field deployment. The position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, reliability, and performance across in-field operations.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

  • Lead the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems and sub-systems across a range of equipment platforms.
  • Manage and develop a team of approximately five direct reports.
  • Define engineering milestones and track progress to ensure delivery against objectives.
  • Act as subject matter expert for system integration testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • Lead power systems engineering projects and technical initiatives.
  • Develop system- and sub-system-level technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and operating procedures.
  • Create and maintain technical resources such as single-line diagrams, integration test documentation, equipment SOPs, and training materials.
  • Design medium-voltage cable assemblies and interconnection methods.
  • Provide sustained engineering support and troubleshooting for equipment operating in the field.
  • Engage with vendors and third-party suppliers to support system integration and component performance.
  • Identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and presentations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, including participation in required training and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Undertake additional duties aligned with role responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience within electrical or power systems engineering roles in an industrial environment.
  • Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in power systems design, integration, testing, and validation.
  • Ability to develop clear technical documentation and training materials.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  • Proactive and structured approach to risk identification and problem resolution.

Opportunity:

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a critical engineering function within a technically complex environment, combining leadership responsibility with hands-on technical impact across live operations.
