The organisation’s technology is designed to automate complex material handling and logistics operations within dynamic industrial environments. The business is a recognised player within goods-to-person (G2P) technology, micro-fulfilment automation, automated material handling, warehouse automation, logistics automation, automated order fulfilment systems, and high-density storage and retrieval solutions.

Role:

The General Manager holds full responsibility for driving the strategic, commercial, and operational performance of the business across the United States.

This role will define and execute the strategic roadmap for product innovation and market expansion, ensuring alignment of AS/RS, shuttle systems, and robotic storage solutions with evolving industry requirements in logistics automation and micro-fulfilment.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for product innovation and market expansion across AS/RS, shuttle systems, and robotic storage solutions.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the business unit, driving revenue growth and profitability through direct sales, strategic partnerships, and value-based pricing models.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement by optimising manufacturing, installation, and service processes.
  • Ensure industry-leading quality, on-time delivery, and life-cycle support across automated material handling solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, project management, and service functions.
  • Build organisational capability to deliver complex, turnkey warehouse automation projects at scale.
  • Act as the primary executive representative to key customers, industry partners, and at major industry events.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s position as a trusted leader in high-density automated storage and goods-to-person (G2P) technology.

Qualifications:

  • Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L ownership within industrial automation, material handling, warehouse automation, or robotics environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing business strategies that have delivered significant revenue growth and market share expansion for complex AS/RS or comparable warehouse automation solutions.
  • Deep technical and operational expertise across the engineering, deployment, and life-cycle management of large-scale automated material handling systems (AMHS), including AS/RS, shuttle systems, and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
  • Strong operational background optimising manufacturing, complex project installation, and field service operations to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Exceptional capability leading solution-based sales for high-value capital equipment projects, including navigating complex sales cycles with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Established network within logistics, e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing commercial and technical teams.
