Our client is a global leader in the engineered products space, seeking a talented Global Sales and Marketing Director to join their dynamic team. This role is vital for building relationships with customers and driving sales strategies to meet the company's objectives.

Role:

  • Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with global customers to ensure mutual success.
  • Set business objectives and sales targets for business development managers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Oversee the activities of business development managers in areas such as customer relations, lead generation, marketing, and sales performance.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including seminars and trade shows.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, feedback, and developments from field activities to the CEO and relevant internal teams.
  • Prepare global sales analysis and reports that cover activities, follow-ups, and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams on projects, product development, and trade shows as needed.
  • Mentor and lead direct reports and cross-functional teams, aligning their work with the company’s core values and objectives.
  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes to ensure departmental compliance with organizational goals.
  • Provide support for other roles as needed and take on additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Be an integral part of the SLT.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including leadership roles.
  • Expertise in outside sales management and technical sales.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO and other quality control programs.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, specifically with pumps and fluid control.
  • Knowledge of the customer service and sales processes within industrial manufacturing and distribution management.
  • Understanding of materials like plastics and metals, including casting/molding processes.
  • Familiarity with ASME Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Division 1).
